RSVP Wording for # of kids...

We're having a buffet so i really only need to know the number of kids not a full meal choice...  any ideas?

    Do you not know your guests?  And how many of them are children?

    My RSVP cards specifically list each name and menu choice.  The template and screenshots are available in my bio, under templates. 

    However, if you know your guests, and they reply with the names of those attending (which is appropriate and they should do), you would know how many are children.

    I think the bigger issue is that some kids at 8 eat adult meals, and some kids at 14 eat kids meals.  An arbitrary age cutoff won't necessarily match what your young guests would be happiest with.  Either call the parents and ask, or find a way to put it on the RSVP card. 

    Are the kids being served a special kids meal, by the way?  Or the caterer just assumes they'll eat less from the buffet?
