Wedding Invitations & Paper

Invitations

I am getting married about 4 hours from my hometown, so I guess it is considered a destination wedding.  I am having trouble with my invitations.  I need to include the following:

Date
Time
Ceremony Location
Reception Location (cocktail hour)
Reception Location (seated dinner)
Directions
Hotel Accommodations
RSVP card

How in the world do I include all these things?

Thanks in advance!

Just to clarify the cocktail hour and dinner are in the same location, which is next door to the ceremony location.
  • You only need to note the reception location once if they're in the same general place, ie, two different rooms in the same venue.

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
  • Date - on the invite
    Time - on the invite
Ceremony Location - on the invite
Reception Location (cocktail hour)  -  either on the invite or a reception card
Reception Location (seated dinner) - skip since it's the same, just part of the reception, and have signs for the location for which room/when/etc.
Directions - Directions insert OR back of the Accomodations card
    Hotel Accommodations - Accomodations insert
    RSVP card - response card/envelope

Deep breath.  Just find an invitation design you like & go from there.  You need an invite, a reception card, a response card, and one double sided or two single sided inserts.

Dresses may be easier to take in than let out, but guest lists are not. -- kate51485
  • Thanks everyone!  I just get so wrapped up in everything it's hard to see past the small stuff!  The good news is...I found a dress today.  I was scared I wouldn't find one off the rack.
