XP: Vistaprint Invites

So I'm wondering if people can describe to me how wedding invitations work. I hear people talking about folds and inserts, and I'm not sure about everything that needs to be included! 

I'm hoping someone can specifically help me with Vistaprint invites. I only see a single, one sided page on the invites offered in vistaprint. Do they come with RSVP cards or inserts for accomodations? Or would I need to buy all these things separately?

If you go this route (we did!!) just make sure to check all measurements (pocketfold,invite, different envelope) before you order anything. the free postcards make excellent RSVP cards and the free business cards can be used for both escort cards and for picture share cards. you can also use either the postcard or the business card in any OOT bags depending on how much info space you need. GL!
