adults only?

Is it appropriate to have "adults only" on the reception card?  We aren't having children at our wedding and are wondering how to make people aware of this.

Why is it a clear no? We're trying to figure out the same thing (space at the small venue is at a premium), and my bride to be has  and would rather avoid 15 identical conversations..
