My fiancé and I are having table names instead of numbers, with each table being named after a Las Vegas casino. What we were thinking of doing was putting the name and table name on the front, and when you open the inside, having a small picture and some info about the casino. Here's the disagreement: I want to put different facts on the different cards at the table. I think this way, people at the table will all have different little tidbits inside and will talk about them; for example, asking what fact their neighbor across the table has on their card. I thought it would be a good way for the guests at the table to interact. My fiancé thinks we should put a whole blurb with all the facts on each card. He wants all the cards at the table to be the same. I think the cards will be too small to nicely put all of the info he wants. The inside bottom of the card is 2.5" high by 3.75" wide.
His idea:
The Bellagio is owned by Steve Wynn and began construction in 1993 after the demolition of the legendary Dunes hotel and casino. The Bellagio had an original construction cost of $1.6 billion and finally opened on October 15, 1998. The Bellagio is famously known for its fountains in front of the casino, which consist of more than 1200 nozzles and more than 4500 lights, and cost an estimated $40 million to build. The fountains were created by WET, a design firm specializing in inventive fountains and architectural water features. WET also has created water fountains at Somerset mall and in the McNamara Terminal at the Detroit Metro Airport.
My idea:
(one card)
The Bellagio is famously know for its fountains, which contain 22 million gallons of water.
(another card) The company that created the Bellagio fountains also created the fountains at Somerset Mall in Troy, and in the McNamara Terminal of Detroit Metro Airport.
Honest input is appreciated! Thanks for the advice!
