Will attend the Reception in Texas ___________ <-- Note 2 below

NOTE 1: It has been explained to me that the proper way to formally address the Time of your event is stating "Half Past" if it is not on the hour, and "O'Clock" is proper etiquette. You should also state that it is either In The Morning, Afternoon, or Evening. I know it may seem silly and wordy but if you are wanting to address them according to proper etiquette this would be the correct way.

NOTE 2: It may be easier to include the number who will be attending, no need to keep a tally of regrets really. They can fill the attending number in to be 0, 1, 2, 3... and so on. Just an idea :)

I hope this was helpful! Just remember, no matter what, enjoy and love every second of your planning- before you know it, your big day will be here! :)

    Michelle

  • I agree with the changes CM made above (capitalization; "half after" not "past", etc) however, I would use "as they unite in marriage" instead of as they are united in marriage
  • at half after three o'clock

For the RSVP I would put:

    ___ accepts
    ___ declines

    ___ number attending

Instead of putting "RSVP" on the top of the card, you can just put "the favour of a reply is requested by the fifteenth of August" at the top. People will know it's the response card. If you want to put RSVP at the top, instead of abbreviating, I'd write out "Respondez s'il vous plait."
