Addressing my own invites... Does my handwritting cut it?

I'm trying to avoid using a calligrapher to save money. I also think it means more that I'm taking the time to write out the envelopes myself but...

Does it look messy? I'm really torn how to proceed and could use some honest opinions.

Your handwriting is much nicer than mine. I think it is nice enough for addressing invitations unless you are having a very formal wedding.

Write them yourself! I am donig the same thing. I refuse to spend the money just so the envelope looks prefet. And I do think it means more that YOU took the time to sit and write them out

Your handwriting looks great! I think I will address mine as well - I love to write and have good handwriting. It may get tiring but it's cheaper than sending. And honestly I prefer that to getting an invitation with a label on it. (I know that wasn't your other option.) It's just more personal and it still looks great! You are good to go
