Wedding Invitations & Paper

Church Address?

I've seen this both ways, so I'm not sure which I should do...do I put the street address of the church on the invitation, or just the city and state of where the church is located?

It's not a church that any of our guests attend, so they aren't familir with the location, but it's not hard to find either...Google brings it up right away...

Thanks!

Re: Church Address?

  • I would put the address on there.

    Venue Name
    123 Sesame Street
    City, State

    No zip code.

  • If I were a guest, I would appreciate a street address.  Zip code not necessary.

I grew up in a small town that had two "First Baptist Church"es.  So I always wonder if I'm going to the right place when I just have a name and a town.
  • We did not put the address of the chuch on the actual invitation, but we had a directions card that listed the full address of the church and directions how to get there from the major roads.
  • We put it. I don't have many OOT guests but my church has a common name (First Christian Church) so I wanted people to know exactly which one to go to.

We did this.  We had a lot of OOT people, so we also had the hotel give them maps when they checked in.  Only one person got lost, and he doesn't really speak English, so I think it worked.
