Engagement Pary Invites

Hello!  I am hoping for some guidance on getting some cheap, plain, engagement party invitiations.  Any suggestions????

Re: Engagement Pary Invites

  • We had a huge debate on this recently.  Look back a few posts.

There aren't many places that I'm aware of that specialize in e-party invites.  Just look for any casual invites that suit the theme.

Things to keep in mind that you might already know:  e-parties are not supposed to be thrown by the bride and groom for themselves, and anyone invited to the e-party should be invited to the wedding.

  • Have you tried Vistaprint? If you sign up for their emails you'll get offers several times a week for free items. In fact I got an email today that included 10 free invitations (just pay shipping). You might have to go through a few orders to get the number you need, but it's a secret a lot of brides on here swear by for cheap paper items. You can customize them yourself and even the 21 day shipping is usually really fast (like a week or so).

Other than that, there are invitation kits at craft stores like Michael's, Hobby Lobby, JoAnn's, and even Target. You can print the wording on the invites yourself and they are very cheap. If you want something plain, that might be a fast and easy way to do it. If you don't have a printer, you can take an invitation to Kinkos and see how much it would be to print, or even have invitations printed on plain cardstock and cut to size.
