Wedding Invitations & Paper

Invite wording

I have been racking my brain for weeks trying to figure out how we are going to word our invitations because we are paying for the wedding ourselves. It's not like our parents are inviting people, we are. SO, this is embarrasing, but I was watching Breaking Dawn last night and noticed the wording on Bella and Edward's invitation, and it's PERFECT wording for if you are in the situation we are in.

So,thought I'd share: [http://www.clevvertv.com/twilight-saga/24736/breaking-dawn-wedding-invitation-photos-released.html]

Haha, so embarrasing but I'm totally taking my wording from a Twilight movie. Ha!

Re: Invite wording

  • Eeeesh.....I was just saying the way it was worded without saying the brides's parents are inviting....

  • thanks so much for posting this! even if it's not "perfect," it's perfect for our situation as well, since listing the parents would just be a mess since they're divorced and FI's family is contributing quite a bit more than my parents can afford.

  • Are you have a formal or informal wedding? We are also hosting our own wedding, and did not include our parents at all on the invitations. If you are not having a formal wedding, you can be much more creative with your wording. Just do a google search for "informal wedding invitation wording" or something of the sort.
