Ok so maybe your first thought is that you would call it lame! lol... But, here's the deal. We are having an afternoon wedding on a Sunday with no alcohol (all to save costs). After the ceremony, we will have "cocktail hour", for lack of a better term, while the ceremony room is flipped for the reception. Guests will just enjoy punch and light hor d'oeuvres. Afterwards, they'll come back down for the reception for dinner.
I'm trying to come up with the wording for my invitations and I'm getting stuck here:
"Join us for a dinner reception" is what I currently have. But should I include the other part as well?
The sample wedding invitation that I'm using also has a spot with a timeline on it that reads:
Cocktails 5:00pm
Dinner 6:00pm
Dancing to follow
What would you put there instead of "Cocktails"?
