Help Me Decide - Paper Napkins

My wedding will (hopefully) be a backyard casually elegant affair.  I am usually not this indecisive - but this is throwing me for a loop.

Which paper napkins should I go with?
"Better than linen" brand white dinner napkins/guest towels"  288 - $49.95 (I would only buy 1 bundle)



OR

3-ply Navy Blue dinner napkin/guest towels - 192 for $19.95 (I would buy 2 bundles)



I'm leading toward the 3-ply napkins, using white and the navy.  What's holding me up is the quality or feel of the napkins.  I know I'm overthinking this, but is it even a big deal?

Please calm my brain.  Thank you.

I would rather have more napkins for less money.  It's either linen or it isn't, and in a backyard - casual elegance or pure picnic - I wouldn't care.

I honestly think it depends on what is served. This is a problem at restaurants I consult. If you are going with a lot of finger foods, then go with the thicker better than linen feel. Otherwise go with the regular table napkins. Because in the end the table napkins if served with finger food will end up using as much as the linen napkins cost wise because of how many they will go through.

Lovely, you're having a good old homestyle southern dinner... I think the 3-ply will work just fine [: No one is going to notice what kind of napkins you have, as long as they have something to wipe their fingers on after eating such yummy food!
