Announcement and/or Reception Wording

My fiance, now husband, and I eloped last month.  We are hosting a cocktail reception for family and friends in April.  Is there a formal or proper way to word invitations to our reception?  Everyone is in on the news, so it wouldn't be a true 'announcement'  and we do not want to be too casual.  Any tips or advice?
