Our wedding is on a Friday evening and, as result, quite a few of our out of town guests are unable to attend. We initially only invited family and a few close friends. Now, we have some room to add additional guests, but we need our final headcount in two weeks.
Is it tacky to ask friends to come to the wedding at this point? I think this would need to be done in person or via phone to explain the situation, but I'm not sure it's even appropriate...
