address help for families with children

hi knoties!

i am looking for advice on howto address my invitations to families with children. I do NOT have an inner envelope to list their names on. for two children i can easily puta second linr on the outer envelope but some familes have up to 8 children! i dont want to put all their names. should i stick with just mr and mrs so and so or would the jones family be an acceptable? whatever i do iwould like to stay consistent with all the invites.

I saw one poster here that included a little card in the envelope for large families. I can't remember who, but kudos! I thought it was a great idea.

So the envelope was addressed to Mr and Mrs Johnson, but the little card inside the envelope said "Billy, Susie and Annie are welcome, too!"
