Wedding Invitations & Paper

Critique my invite...please.

So, I designed my own invites. I plan on printing them with vistaprint. Let me know what you think. (Speak freely). Thanks in advance!!

Re: Critique my invite...please.

  • I think they look really nice. Did you use a template or design them yourself in Photoshop or some other program?
  • The T in the date shouldn't be capitalized. The "at" is fine before the time, and is usually included, but you don't need the "at" before the church.
Also, it should be Reception to follow

  • Thank you for the tips. I made it in publisher. I'm making a separate card for the rsvp and travel info. Keep the suggestions coming.
  • if you capitalize the one set of numbers do you keep capitalizing? i don't know the answer, but thought i would ask the question.  i think your invite is lovely though - the design and the color look great together.  high five on the creativity!!

And I think the background is too dark - it will be hard to read for some folks.  I'd make sure you have more contrast between the background and the lettering.  Either go darker with the background and white lettering or lighten the background and dark lettering.
