opinion on thank you note labels

Do you guys think it is tacky to use printed address labels on thank you notes.....*stares longingly at her dymo labeler*

It's far less tacky than not sending a note at all, right? And it's not like you're using a label instead of signing your name or anything

I think it's fine- they are just going to go in the garbage anyway. How many people really study the envelope?

I'd do it, especially if it helps get your TY notes out faster!

I wouldn't be offended if there was a label on a TY...if it was a typed form letter thank you, that would be tacky!

LOL at using a label instead of signing you name. I thinking I may start doing that just for the fun of it.

Thank you notes are a lot less formal than actual invitations. While I am a big fan of hand writing addresses on invitations, I wouldn't think twice if I received a thank you note with a label! Ditto pp's about getting them out faster too

I was really thinking it would help DF, like if I had the envelopes all addressed and stamped.  lol.

I have no problem with it. A preprinted thank you note, with no added message or even a signature (which we received for a wedding 2 years ago), now that's tacky.

totally agree on pre printed msg!  eek!! - we're handwriting them all, and all of our invitations had handwritten addresses (they're all done btw :-D).  Glad to hear you ladies echoed my sentiments.  yay for my dymo labeler!  lol.

Yep, I did labels on our wedding thank you notes. Clearly, I saw little issue with it. :-)
