We have decided to have a private city hall wedding with just us and one witness and plan to just tell everyone afterwards. In about a year or so, we'd like to have the "reception" for the families and friends (but with no set date, I'd prefer to not even mention it yet). My question is: what are some good ways to word our announcements? We're not very formal at all and can't find myself writing the whole "pleased to announce the recent maritials of...."-kind of thing!
