Wedding Invitations & Paper

Where to buy invitations

Hi,

I do not want to buy my invitations online but I have no idea what kind of store I go to to find wedding invitations.  Where do I look?  Thanks!

Re: Where to buy invitations

  • Depending on what you want you can look at some bridal stores (gown shops like alfred angelo and davids do invites though other companies) as well as if you want to print them yourself you can hit up any craft store.

  • Go to your local board and see if anyone can recommend a local printer/stationer/etc where you can get invites.

  • Most good stationery stores carry book of sample invitiation.  It really depends on what you want and how much you want to spend.

Kate's Paper, Cranes, etc.  I think even Kate Spade has a line of invitations now.

Any good stationery store will help you find what you want or you can go to a store just for invitations. I don't know any in your area but you could try asking on your local board.

<div>I have to ask what your reason for not wanting to go online is? I ordered mine online and saved a ton of money, and the company is happy to send free samples to see paper quality/color, font and ink, design, etc... </div><div>
</div><div>If I had not ordered online, I would have gone through someone local, to support the economy of my neighborhood. Usually, small businesses are willing to work with you on pricing and any special requests you may have. Developing a good relationship with a small business owner for things like invites is never a bad thing - think baby shower, birthdays, holiday cards, etc. !</div><div>

  • I was just at party city getting something for my friend's birthday and noticed they have an entire section of wedding invites - nice ones in large binders that you can flip through. HTH!
