How to Include Stepmother on the prgram?

I'm working on my programs - just formatting and whatnot, but how do I list a stepmother on the program?

Here's what I have:

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE          MS. LINDA LAST NAME
FATHER OF THE BRIDE            MR. JUAN E. LAST NAME
MOTHER OF THE GROOM        MS. LILLY LAST NAME
FATHER OF THE GROOM        MR. ALEXANDER LAST NAME
CHILDREN OF THE COUPLE        COLDEN LN & ALEXANDERLN

Do I list the step-mom under father?  She will be getting a slightly different corsage than the bio-moms.

Thanks for any insight.

    I might say:

    Parents of the bride:  Mother
                                        Father and Stepmother

Parents of the groom: Mother and Father
  • Ditto ohwhynot.

Parents of the bride: Mother's name
                                      Father and step-mother's names

    Parents of the groom: names

If you don't like that, then using the way you have it I would add a line for stepmother.

MOTHER OF THE BRIDE          MS. LINDA LAST NAME
FATHER OF THE BRIDE            MR. JUAN E. LAST NAME
    Stepmother of the bride           Name
MOTHER OF THE GROOM        MS. LILLY LAST NAME
FATHER OF THE GROOM        MR. ALEXANDER LAST NAME
CHILDREN OF THE COUPLE        COLDEN LN & ALEXANDERLN

  • Thanks.  I didn't want it to be too weird, because all the parents are divorced.  FI's mother and father haven't seen each other in over 30 years.  I don't think his mom would take too kindly to being on the same line with FI's stepmother.

I think adding her own line would work best.
  • She should be on a separate line anyway, and before her ex-H (unless they have some sort of polygamous thing going on).
