Okay -- I need some help. 

We are getting married in Cancun Mexico April 2013 and our reception is in Iowa in May 2013. How do I word the save the dates to include BOTH dates?

Thinking something along the lines of :

        Joe Smith & Joan X are tying the knot 

Please join us for wedding ceremony in Cancun, Mexico April XX, 2013.

Save the date for wedding celebration in XX, Iowa May XX, 2013.

How can I make that more formal?! Help!!?

You're having a reception after the Cancun ceremony as well for those who attend, right?

I think I would have the STD just have the Cancun information and include an insert for the AHR in Iowa.

Not all of my guests will be able to travel for the Cancun ceremony, but I still want to extend that invitation to them (have it included on the STD). But the reception is for everyone, both people going on the trip and those who cannot make it -- 

I don't want to leave anyone out.
