Anyone ever use those meal bags in freezer sec?

I'm too lazy to come up with a meal for my job and was wondering if anyone ever bought the one bag called Bertolina? Something like that. I can't remember spelling. They have chicken/pasta and I think shrimp/pasta. Just wanted to know if they are any good for a last minute supper. Thanks

We bought a few of the Asian ones a while back, never the pasta. The Pasta ones are all way too fatty for our tastes. With all of those, there is a butt ton of sodium. Other than the unhealthiness, they tasted OK.

We tried one on Sunday.  I think it might have been Bertolli's but not sure.  It was 'chicken parmesan' but there were 3 pieces of chicken and it wasn't real chicken - more rib meat than anything else.  I had to make more pasta and add sauce just to make enough for DH and I and it didn't taste all that great.

Jenn that's the name,Bertolli's. Kind of figured they weren't the best meals. Oh well maybe it will be orzo salad and chicken tonight.

FI and I had one of those Bertolli meals about a year ago. It was one with chicken and pasta - don't exactly remember what kind though. I remember it tasted ok but it made both of our stomaches hurt and made us queasy for the rest of the night. Haven't bought another since.

I haven't tried the Bertolli ones, but I did buy a Steamfresh bagged meal once. It was pretty good actually- chicken, veggies, and pasta in some kind of light sauce. The only reason I bought it though was b/c I had a coupon and needed something quick to make one night. I think these type of meals are ok to buy occasionally, but otherwise a waste of $.

We don't like the Bertolli ones, but we do like the Chicken Voila, I think it's Garlic Chicken. It's very yummy (though laden with sodium & fat, as Nunu said).

Never tried Bertoli, I finally bought a Chicken Voila though so I'm glad to hear they're good.  There have been so many weeks that either it or Steamfresh was on sale and I always had a coupon for the one that wasn't on sale.  I finally got to double dip!I really liked the Giant Eagle shrimp ones we bought, I think we got fried rice once and alfredo another time.
