how do we write the return address. Do i send my fiance family with his name and my family with my name or can we use both?

You should use whatever address you would want the invitations to come back to, should they need to do so.

Well we both live in the same house i was just wondering name wise should we use my name to send the invites to my family and his name for his family or should we use both names?

For the return address, we didn't put a name, just put our address, since that's all that really matters for that part.

For the RSVP address, we put my name and our address. I have no idea why, since we lived together, it's just what we did I guess. I've also heard of people doing:

Smith/Jones Wedding
1243 Elm St.
New York, NY 11111

Or you could put his name or both of your names, it's just up to you. Whatever you choose I think I'd probably use the same thing for all guests just to save yourself trouble and time.
