Wedding Invitations & Paper

I need inexpensive online invitations... no time to DIY. any suggestions?

I can't really DIY because I'm planning our wedding from Australia.  So, I need something easy that I can purchase online, get sent to my poor overworked mother, and get her to address and send them out for me.  I don't want to saddle her with DIY on top of that.  I don't need a work of art, but I'd like something that's good value for money.   I also don't want to spend a fortune since a lot of our wedding budget is getting eaten up by flights.  Any suggestions?

  • Vistaprint.com  are fairly inexpensive.  Maybe around $1 each, and I think they may throw in standard envelopes free.  I don't know the price on response cards and reception cards though. They have a lot of designs.

  • I second Vista Print or 123Print.
  • It depends upon what you mean by budget, but I had ours done from Weddingpaperdivas.com
  • I picked up a flier at a recent bridal show from a Carlson Craft dealer.  They have a special going now called "Simply Sensible" budget packages wedding.  It says save up to $400 off suggested retail prices on our new budget packages - packages starting as low as $99.90, not including shipping and sales tax.  Promotion ends 6/1/10.

Each package includes printed invites and blank single envelopes, printed respond cards and printed envelopes, blank thank you cards and blank envelopes.  In addition, some packages include foil printed napkins and blank accessories.  They have a limited number of styles available at this price.

If you're interested, google Carlson Craft  and see if you have a dealer near you.

***Disclaimer*** I am not a Carlson Craft dealer, this just sounds like a good deal.
  • I second the Wedding Paper Divas suggestion.  I LOVE my invites from them, and they have so many inexpensive options to choose from there.

  • Thanks so much girls!  I'm loving weddingpaperdivas... so many pretty options and I love that they'll let you change the color scheme for most of the designs.  I've ordered samples from 123print and americanwedding.  123 print is cheap, but so cheap that it makes me nervous!    I'll check out vista, etsy, and carlton craft as well.  Thanks a million!
