How to address veterans.

My cousin use to be in the Army, after almost dying and being injured, they honorably discharged him. He use to be a Sergeant. How do I address the invitation to him and his wife?

I didn't mean to sound bitchy either! Just wanted to let you know the proper spelling in case you do use it. I hate how the internet can make it seem like you're being snarky when you're really just trying to help!

I know, I never suggested anyone was being "bitchy" at all. Just said thanks, and that not everything was not always perfect. Which I know y'all know and was trying to help. Thanks for pointing out my spelling errors! :)Sometimes when I hit the keys they don't always produce a letter the way I want
