Wedding Invitations & Paper

Paper for Wedding Programs

I'm planning to make my own wedding ceremony programs.  I already have the "template" I created ready to print from MS Word.  They will be front and back longways on 8 1/2 X 11 paper.  I'm looking for suggestions on where to buy the paper for the programs.  I'd like it on heavier paper like card stock.  Any suggestions?  Would a store like Officemax or Staples be best?  Or would a specialty store be a better bet?

Re: Paper for Wedding Programs

  • Craft stores would have it, like Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Or you could try finding something online - Paperandmore.com is a good one. Envelopments.com has AWESOME paper, but they only sell through local dealers. It might be worth checking to see if a store near you carries their paper though.
  • This is a good question.
My Michael's doesn't have a wide selection of card stock; pretty much only 65lb.

  • I bought a pack of a few hundred sheets of 60 and 100lb cardstock at Staples for I think $15. Just go online and compare prices before you go into the store.
