NWR help?

We are going to dinner tonight and I just can't decide where to go. I am torn on seafood and italian, but would want somewhere that might have sandwiches or something also in case FI doesn't want whichever i decide on. Do you have any suggestions? I have the menus open on the screen for a few places but can't decide between any of them. I will take any recommendations and any input on these restaurants if you have any. Thanks! The Baltimore House - pleasant hillsMitchell's fish Market - WaterfrontBravo - waterfrontMccormick/Schmicks - SouthsideI have no clue where to go, ive only been to bravo once and the rest never so i really don't have an opinion on any of them....

The Baltimore House is no where near as nice as the other restaurants listed.  It's kind of strange and random.  DH and I always crack up at the statues they have outside of it (they vary from jazz playing people to topless mermaids).

Yeah, I know its a lot different, but I know where it is and i saw they had sandwiches. Ive never been there but have heard fairly decent things about it in the past despite the hysterical statues.

I actually really like the Baltimore House.  I'm not sure if they have sandwiches though, but we used to love getting their 2 for $20 meal deal (not sure if they still have that or what nights it's available), their sushi is pretty good too if either of you like it.  I usually get their cajun chicken and shimp alfredo so it's a little bit of seafood and a little bit of Italian!

He won't help pick, either, so that makes it even more frustrating. he won't even eliminate a place or two to help! lol.

I agree with Stacey, it is utterly random and not as nicely decorated but I've never had anything I didn't enjoy there.  BTW, they have new random figurines that appear to be for the Japanese steakhouse lol.  They just keep building on the place it's like the Sara Winchester house!

We stopped by the Baltimore House for a menu when we looked at a house in Pleasant Hills. it is definitely strange. However, it made us mad that they don't serve blue crabs even though there's pictures of them everywhere on their building and menu.We were so disappointed that it made us like the house we saw/area less. I like McCormick & Schmick's, but it is the priciest of all you have listed. I think Mitchell's is the most versatile in that there;s plenty to choose form other than seafood.I love love love bravo, but I am big fan of trying somewhere new!

I've never been to the Baltimore House, but I like the other 3 a lot.

We love Mitchells - they have a great selection.  I've heard Baltimore House is a bit overpriced, but I could be wrong.  I think I've been there once years and years ago.

The food at the Baltimore House is good!  The atmosphere is so totally random, it's actually kind of fun to go there because it's so all over the place though.  Jamie, I have to see these new statues, LOL.  It's a conversation piece, that's for sure!

thanks everyone :D I am starting to lean towards mitchells so we can just hit up the theater afterwards, but i think ill try to get him to decide between "that weird place with the statues on the way to the tux shop" or "that fish place at the waterfront"sadly, he doesn't pay attention to restaurant names and i have to use those descriptions.... lol

I will try to remember to take a camera with me one day and snap a picture for you as I drive by Stacey!  The first time we went there, we didn't know where to go in.  There are so many doors and there was no one to seat us at any of them.  I agree about the atmosphere though it can be really cool, they had some Mardi Gras jazz bands playing the first time we went and it was pretty neat to just walk in on and I think that kind of sold us as our go to "non-chain" restaurant.

Like Nuelsi, I LOVE Bravo. Love it, love it, and miss it.I really love the food at Rock Bottom down there, it is like homestyle type food too.Is Red, Hot, and Blue still open across from the movie theater? Miss that place too!

K-- They closed Red Hot & Blues. E & I were devastated! It was our go-to Waterfront place.

N, I figured they would. Nothing has ever been able to stay open in that location. It was Cap City Grill, then a Mexican food place, then RHB, nothing ever stays open there for long!
