Invite Wording with Divorced Parents

Im looking for suggestions for wording for invitations. Im having a Jewish wedding and my parents are both divorced and remarried and my fiances parents are still married (total of 6 parents!) trying not to hurt any feelings...

Re: Invite Wording with Divorced Parents

  • I like 'together with their parents'. I'm in the process of trying to come up with something, and there are three sets of parents because my parents are divorced and each with someone else.

My parents are divorced and his are still married and we put "Mr and Mrs. Mom and stedad's name  and Mr. and Mrs. Stepmom and dad's name together with FI's parent's names invite you...."  PIB, you can see it!
  • i had to try and decide on that. my parents are together and his parents are divorced so we just put me and my fi on invitation: Mr & Mrs fi's last name would like you to join them on their.........
  • Together with their parents is best.

  • I didn't like Together with their parents so we are doing:

Mr. and Mrs. Dad Last Name
Mr and Mrs. Stepdad Last Name
    and
Mr. and Mrs. FI's Dad Last Name
Request the Pleasure of your company
at the marriage of their children
    my name & fi's name
  • Etiquette wise, yes, it's acceptable, although it's recommended to omit step-parents unless they raised you.  (Just FYI on that part.)
