I just got a call from the Bio department secretary at the one school I teach at asking me to meet with the chair tonight. I feel like I've been called to the principal's office. I wonder what I did wrong? I hope its nothing serious.

KR - a raise would be wonderful, but I doubt it. For the life of me I can't figure out what the issue is, so it can't be too bad. I had a student accuse me of being a racist two weeks ago because I said that African-Americans are more prone to heart attacks, but there were stats to back that up. Easily talked out of if that was the issue. Needless to say, I'm not a racist (just in case I needed to clarify that point).

Good luck!  I hate when my principal calls for me over the announcements and all the kids in my class get the "ahhhh, you're in trouble!"  it sucks, usually no big deal though.  Hopefully it will be something good!
