I think as most of you know, my DH teaches HS special ed kids. This year, he is also coaching them in a soccer league in our county. The "playoffs" were last night (after being delayed for rain for a few days last week) Every team got to play 4 mini games. I went to watch, since I couldn't make it to any of the other games which are all in the afternoons. These kids were soooo excited to be there and to play. And they were so freaking adorable. One of the players says "thank you" every time someone passes the ball to him and another kicks it out of bounds every.single.time. When the leading scorer gets one in, he runs off the field to high five his dad. They all cheer even when the other team scores on them. It was so fun to watch. :)I left before the awards ceremony and they sent home a medal for me too because I was part of their team yesterday. I was a puddle on the floor.
Happy Birthday, little man. We love you so much!
