Wedding Invitations & Paper

Reception Only Invite Wording

I am having a small ceremony followed by a large reception, both are being funded by my parents as well as the grooms parents. Therefore, I am making 2 different invites: 1) for the people that are invited to both ceremony and reception and 2) for people only invited to the reception. I know this is becoming something that many people do and I searched the internet trying to find a good sample to go off of, without much help. I decided to post what my invitation looks like in hopes to help brides out there needing help.

 Hope this helps!! Happy planning!

Re: Reception Only Invite Wording

  • The proper thing to do is write your invitation to the reception, and include an insert for the ceremony for those who are also invited to it.
