Wedding Invitations & Paper

Invite wording: grandparents and 2 sets of parents...

Hey all,

Does anyone have any ideas on how to word the invite in which the person 'hosting' is the grandparent - while still including 2 sets of parents...

In my case, culturally speaking, my dad is very insistent that my grandmother and grandfather be listed first, as the ones who are requesting the pleasure. However, we also need to include my dad and step-mom, and my mom and step-dad.

It seems like a LOT of names and wording there, but there must be a way, right? Ideas?

  • Are your dad, step mom, and mom and step dad paying for the wedding? If not, their names should not be on the invitation. You could put Mr and Mrs grandparents invite you to share etc etc

If you must have your parents names on there too you should put together with their parents and grandparents.. Putting 6 sets of names on there would be too wordy and too lengthy.
