Because of FMIL telling people they were invited instead of giving us a list to approve, we had to nix FI's coworkers from the list. He's on the phone right now calling coworkers and inviting them by word of mouth. He decided that since we had enough people decline, he could invite them, but it's too late to send them by mail. The wedding is in 19 days.I am marrying the tackiest man alive.

I invited FIFs by email 2 weeks before, so I think it'll be fine :)Enjoy your wedding invalidity for not following protocol! Everyone must have at least 1 thing that they breach wedding etiquette for anyhow :P

Aw, I doubt they would be offended.  If one of my coworkers invited me 19 days before, I would go and have fun!

If his coworkers were in Johnstown where the wedding is, or even here in Pittsburgh, I wouldn't think much of it. But they are all in Baltimore. I just think this is very last minute to ask people to travel 4 hours and get a hotel room.
