FI's granny is in a nursing facility and will be unable to attend the wedding. We put something in to remember our grandparents that have passed away, but how can we put something to remember granny?

what about doing a paragraph dedicated to thsoe that could not travel to be with you? something like that?

We're going to have a paragraph that says something like:"We remember those who are unable to celebrate with us today.  We know that their thoughts and prayers are with us, wherever they may be."

I did the same as 1209Bride- just put a generic paragraph in that covers both those that have passed away and those that could not be there. HTH a little!
