Help with Bridesmaids hairstyles

I need help!
Looking for hair examples for my bridesmaids. Something that is universal. I have one two girls with long hair (one has thick the other thin), then two girls with medium length hair, one which has very coarse thick wavy hair.

Wedding is October. Everything I have seen is summery. I was looking for something with braids since I'll have a braid too

Please post some photos or link!

  • you may also want to double check with a stylist. at my friends wedding the stylist said based on the varying textures it would like silly for us all to have the same style. I had to buy a full set of clip ins to have the volume i needed to make it work. I too like the idea of being uniform but I'm just going to tell my girls I want it all up and they can chose the specifics based on their hair Smile
  • A friend of mine had all her girls wear their hair down and curled with French braided bangs. Simple, cute. Some could do it themselves.

  • i wore this for a wedding i was a bridesmaid in and it was awesome. comfy and beautiful. i have medium length very thick hair and i think it will work for all of your bridesmaids. the hair is braided against the back of the head towards the side and  then the loose part of the braid is tucked under and pinned up.
  • Hi ladies, question since we're talking hair for bridesmaids.

I am a bridesmaid in my friends wedding and I have recently went the pixie hairstyle route.  At first she wanted to kill me haha but she then told me she really liked my hair and personally, I look way better with short hair.  Sidenote - the wedding isn't untill October so I could let it grow but I'm trying to gather some ideas here.

I've tried to Google some images and found this may be the best route to inquire about hairstyles for the wedding day.  Hair accessories, bows, clips, etc.  Any of you ladies have any experience or suggestions on how to fancy up my hair on her big day?  Or maybe I should let it grow out a bit to style it up?  My hair grows super fast but I'm trying to avoid the growing out part.

    Thank you!

  • I had a bob at my senior prom, but my stylist managed to get it into a mostly up-do. My suggestion would be to find a stylist you really like, and ask what she can do for you. I think you shouldn't have to grow your hair out for your friend's wedding, but if you truly don't care, you may be able to do more with it (and then chop it again afterwards!). I know it seems silly to go to a stylist for short hair - but they know!

Hey Amanda! Here are some great options for your bridesmaids. There is a section with some old Hollywood glam styles thta would work really well in the fall/winter. Not summery at all ;) I hope this helps!
