Please please please post pics of your naturally curly hairstyles!

I have naturally curly hair and am looking for some inspiration from others who have had curly hairstyles for their wedding. I don't want to straighten my hair to put it into an updo, that just wouldn't be me! But I'm having trouble finding ideas for brides who have naturally curly hair, rather than getting some curls put in by the hairdresser.

Any pictures you might have of curly wedding updos (or anything really!) would be greatly appreciated!

</div><div>I would love to see ideas too ---- so many of the photos online of updos or hair down are curls that come from curling irons or rollers not from nature......</div>

  • Count me in. My naturally curly hair is barely shoulder length, and I'm not sure I can get an up-do (with tendrils) to stay! I just want one comb...or a few small pretty pins ... I wont be wearing a veil. I don't normally use styling products...I don't own a hair dryer, and am having to rationalize finding someone to do my hair ... And how ... And without a bunch of hair gunk if possible! The biggest stress is somehow it didn't occur to me to figure out hair until last week! Sigh

  • Yay! The only naturally curly pics I can find are Disney Princess-esque.

My hair's super long, but I'll be doing a low side updo for the wedding. The only hair that will need to be curled (if at all) is any that potentially frizzes or gets disrupted during the process.
  • My hair is about shoulder length. My sister helped me pull back my hair into a loose updo with bobby pins and bit of hair spray. (This was my twin sister, who has the same curly/wavy hair I do, so she knows how to work with it.) She used a curling iron to curl the ends so they'd cover any bobby pins that might be showing. I loved this look, it was super easy to do, and it stayed put all night.
