So, my hairstylist recommended another hairstylist for my wedding day, b/c my stylist hates doing updo's/formal hair. So I sent her a message on FB, she responded the next day and we chatted about price, what I was looking to get done, etc. She asked for my address so she could send me the contract and I could mail it back to her. Well, a month passed, and I still didn't get it. By that time I needed my hair trimmed again, and I mentioned it to my stylist. She said to write her another email, so I did. Same thing happened as before.
In the meantime, an aquaintance of mine offered to do my hair. I've seen her portfolio, and she's amazing. I'm always more comfortable with people I know anyways.
My question is: do I have an obligation to the first stylist? My Fi says no, he thinks she seems like a flake and since I haven't signed a contract yet, I can do what I want. But she's the friend of my stylist, so I don't want to just blow her off...what should I do?
