Let's see...the website you're advertising is Entertainment Unlimited, and your screen name is eUnlimited, PLUS all 3 of your posts have been about this event. Vendors are not allowed to advertise on the boards, so you are reported!

The ladies here do not look kindly on vendors posting, especially those who aren't even honest about who they are.

You do realize that most brides have well working brains, right?  Just because they are planning a wedding doesn't mean that they can't do anything else with their (sarcastically) really, teeny, tiny one-track brains.

I think all of the women on here are smart enough to realize that you (eUnlimited) are a vendor (Entertainment Unlimited).  Do you really think that this is a good way to get new business?  GO AWAY!

    Self-Observation - I'm being really snarky today.  Maybe I shouldn't post today.

Uh, and I got my DJ from Entertainment Unlimited and he was a total @SSHOLE so yeah, not interested.

lol- I think you just got told off.  times 3.  So scat annoying vendor!   and maybe even delete this post- cause "even bad press is good press" isn't always true.

Um...let's see.  Because that is still technically a vendor.  You aren't coming on here asking for advice, you've never posted anything about your wedding, you've never offered constructive advice.  You are advertising a promotion.

Now scurry along back to your hideyhole.

Because you cannot advertise on the boards!!! You posted in a very vendor-like way. It's not like we know you, and you mentioned this event in passing.

Hahahahaha.  Calling all the hundreds of local brides who read this posting bitches is DEFINITELY the best way to advertise your business.  Klassy.

For starters I wouldn't have joined under a screenname that is my business name, I wouldn't have made my first post an advertisement for my business, and finally, I wouldn't have EVER in a MILLION YEARS, called potential clients b!tches.

    But, that's just me.

I wonder if the owner(s) of Eunlimited know that what you did just probably took away a lot of business...

    This!

I'm sure your employer would be thrilled by the fact that you just alienated a large group of potential clients.  Good job!

Try reading the very visible site and board rules before posting improperly and then attacking the clients you were trying to advertise to.  Or even try reading the board before posting- you don't see any other vendors making the same mistake you did.

and no one called you a bitch, so you want to talk about being RUDE...

Whether you are planning a wedding or not...your name is a business name.  I'm not using my work name to post on a public forum.

Each one of you jumped down my throat... I did not do a thing to anyone of you!! Completely out of line. I may have been rude in calling you bitches... but to be new to this board and to have the rudest comments, I was completely offended! I apologize to all, I just wanted to be a part of a great group and to pass on some helpful info and to get helpful info in planning my event next year!
  • edited December 2011
well, you certainly went about it the completely wrong way.  Now go away, make a new screen name and try again.  This time introducing yourself first- and getting to know the board before advertising "some helpful info".  ok?
