I met with and booked our florist yesterday and our DJ today!! Then when I got home tonight, I had a huge package waiting for me. It's 30 yards of fabric to make our table runners!! I totally forgot about it because I ordered it like 3 weeks ago but it was backordered. I'm excited to start that project. And we're getting our e-pics done tomorrow!! Lots of checks so far this week What WR things have you/will you accomplish this week??

Great job! Please share how you do the table runners. That sounds like a nice touch for less money than buying them! =o) I'm second guessing our reception location so I'm going to search a bit more before signing the contract that's been in my email for 2 weeks. ehh Also, this weekend I would like to go with FI and have us pick out of e-pic outfits! yay!

We are slacking. I was asking FI if we decided on a color for my Mustang yet because that'll be the final color in our list of wedding colors. He was like "We have time! We still have a year babe!" I then reminded him that myself, my bridesmaids, grandmother, and mother will be doing a lot of the stuff ourselves since its a DIY wedding. I THINK it finally hit him lol!

So, we got our color scheme down now, got the color my Mustang will be set in stone, and I picked out my dress and headpeice....I just have to put a down payment on the dress.

I think Friday after we go house hunting we are going to our possible venue to check it out.

I'm going to start addressing our Save-the-Dates this week, but that's pretty much it for this week

My FI is currently out of the country ...and will be for another few weeks... so all checks have been things he's not related to.  Picked out and ordered my dress on Monday.  Talking to the mother of my flower girls-to-be tomorrow, and faxing the contract for my reception on Friday!

Also, I'm always impressed with DIY brides.  I wish I had the patience and creativity!  I'm sure the table runners will look great!
