if anyone lives in massachusetts, please, where is the best place to buy my wedding dress? nothing to expensive; in the range of $200-600.

I got my dress at DB in North Attleboro. But if you are looking for a different shop I would post this on your local board.

It's out of the ordinary, but you could also check around the local prom places. With prom season done soon, the dresses will be on sale soon, and there are lots that are pretty and white and no one will know the difference.

I got my lovely dress for $15 at Penny's after prom season... Worth a check anyway, on your way to DB

I got mine for $200 for a Maggie Sottero at a sample sale at a bridal show. The bridal shop was Bancroft Bridal in western mass.

Agree w/ DB, Alfred Angelo is also reasonably priced.

I would check out some of the bigger department stores, like Macy's, Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdale's, etc.  Most of them have a wedding shop online with lots of beautiful dresses, most of which are definitely in your price range.  I would also check out the online stores of J.Crew, Black House White Market, The Limited, and Ann Taylor, all of which now carry bridal lines (and all of the dresses I've seen have been less than $600).  These stores also frequently offer discounts if you sign up for their email.  Ann Taylor just had one for 40% dresses (which included their wedding dresses!) plus free shipping.  A good thing about these retailers is that you can also RETURN the dress if something doesn't fit right or you don't like the style.  I would also make sure you set aside some money for alterations; no matter what, you'll probably have to at least hem something.  HTH!
