We went to a few venues yesterday and fell in love with one of them. Its a county park, called Agricultural History Farm. Kind of like a working museum. It has everything we wanted, outdoor setting, space to get ready on the premises. It has a large patio space behind the main farm house where we can put up a tent.
We have a few details to work out as they provide very little so we just have to quickly run the numbers and make sure renting everything won't put us way over budget. Being a county park they have no prefered vendors, though they are going to try to get us a list of places that have worked on their facilities before.
They didn't have any photos of tent weddings, they say most people just have it in the nearby barn.
