New to this month board :)

Soo first of all..hello ladies :)  I am new to this month board...we had been planning for an Oct 2011 wedding but plans have fallen thru and we came to a mutual decision to put it off till May 19th 2012...and feel alot better about it.  Most of it has been money and lack of options and time..so now we have alot more time to save and also both our families can actually help like they have wanted to but werent able to right now. And I wont freeze in my dress now haha.  So just wanted to pop in and say hi :)

    Lol thanks...oopsy...we date twins haha...well its 2 days before my bday and since FI bday falls on Memorial day weekend..we went with mine..just adds to our already crazy May lol. Thanks and I think I will like it here :)

    Thanks everyone :)...well Im going to be honest...no we really dont have alot done...which is why we knew it was insane to continue with a fall wedding this year...I have my dress, reception venue, dj, possible photographer, was going to have a few family and friends that Offered cook...and was going to prolly go with silk flowers and make them myself, invitations were also going to be diy..already had a mockup...hmm...FI had tuxes etc picked out just not paid for whew...and bridal party picked..and been working on finalizing the guest list...that pretty much sums it up lol.

    My name is Alicia and I work at a petstore..live with a bunch of furry critters we call our "kids" lol. Mike is the FI and he a bartender :)

    I was in the same boat as you.  We originally planned a October 2011 wedding but decided to push it back to May 2012.  Best decision!
