Congrats on getting your pictures done!!

Speaking of engagement photos.... I really, really want to get some done of my honey and I since the photographer throws in a free session upon booking with her, it only makes sense that we would. The only crappy thing is that my honey is currently deployed overseas and won't be home until the end of August/beginning of September. Do you think thats too late to have the photos taken and send out Save-the-Date cards?? I really want to do the cards because we're getting married on a holiday weekend (May 26!!!!) so peoplel have plenty of time to plan ahead but is sending out the cards in October enough of a notice?? Thanks May-Ladies

I think that would be enough time. sending them in October would still give your guests 6 months for making plans!  Also it will be something special for the two of you to do when he returns. Even if you do not send out the STDs you can always just use the pictures in other ways. I mean if the photo shoot is free, I would definitely go for it!
