Wedding Bands....

So after I got home from working out yesterday I saw FI looking at wedding bands... I feel bad his wedding band cost half the price of mine. I told him he could get 2 (one to play in and the other to wear when he isnt working on trucks and stuff) but he said now. I then asked do you want a watch or a pair of diamond earrings(lol...) he said no!!! I look at my e-ring and my soon to be band and think I have his dream 24's on my finger... What's a gal to do?

LOL my FI surprised me, his wedding band is going to end up costing more than my engagement ring! He is so not a diamond guy, but that's what he wants!

My FI's band is going to cost about the same thing he spent on my ring (I wear an heirloom ring that sits inside his ring)

p.s. if he's into watches, cufflinks, bracelets, etc...maybe you could surprise him with a really nice one (or set) the day of the wedding...I'm surprising my FI with awesome cufflinks the day of...

A watch is a fantastic idea!!  FI will need a new one by then and I can get him one of the fancy gauges all over it ones that I can't read.  We are getting matching bands, probably something simple, I work a lot with my hands and the public so I want a very low key set.

I like the watch idea, or maybe a digital camera or an iPod if he is interested in those things.

He is just so plain... He has a watch and never wears it... He uses his iphone as a camera... Maybe I can get him something for his truck or some new shoes or something....

Ambie don't feel bad.  FI's ring is like $2000 less than mine.  But that's what he wanted.   I don't know what to get him to make up for that difference either.

I think it's totally fine! Men don't usually want pretty shiny things as much as we do. You've got your E-ring, and he's got you on his arm, so I'm sure he's happy!
