I just wanted to share my DIY progress.... I decided that I wanted to jazz up some wine glasses for my ladies at the head table so I bought 6 wine glasses and some ribbon. I bought dark purple ribbon and black and white damask ribbon from Michaels and glued the damask onto the purple. I then glued the ribbons onto the glass, in small letters on the glass I painted 5.26.12 (our wedding date), and on the base of the glass I painted each girls name. They turned out so cute and I thought they would be a cute gift for all my ladies
I'll post pictures as soon as I get my camera back!! I am just super excited about how they turned out
I also bought all the stuff to make my STD cards! I'm going to use white card stock, and the ribbons I described above, along with one of our engagement photos (once we finally get them done!). Thanks to Walmart I can just add text to the photos (Save the Date, Sarah + Tim, 5.26.12, Manistee MI) and then glue everything together! I am so excited, simple and elegant just the way I like it!!!
Sorry for the blabber but I'm excited! I finally feel like I'm moving in the right direction.
