What's the dress code for your wedding?

Black Tie? Formal? Semi Formal? Casual?

I'm hoping formal (i.e. women in dresses, men in a suit and tie), but I'm not going to tell people what to wear.  The ceremony isn't starting until 6, so I hope people know that they are supposed to dress up for an evening event.

I am not telling people what to wear. Knowing the people on our guest list, some of the men will wear suits, or khakis/dress pants and a nice dress shirt. The women will wear dresses, or skirts, nice pants, dressy top.

I'm not telling people what to wear either, but I'm assuming most of my guests will come semi-formal.

Not super casual, but nice beachy wear for our ceremony and then semi formal for the AHR

We are putting on the inivitations, formal attire requested.  Hopefully no one shows up in a t-shirt and jeans lol

I actually really dont care. You want to come in your Sunday best..Awsome. You want to come in your T-shirt and jeans...go for it. I know alot of people dont like weddings cause they dont like to dress up, so Id rather them come and be comfortable.

Well since it's looking like it will be just the two of us on a beach we will be super casual and barefoot.  YES!!! I really do sound like I'm from Kentucky now lol

I'm not asking people to dress any certain way.  I'm sure my family will dress nicely.  If I had to put a label on our wedding, I'd assume most guests will dress formally or semi-formally.

We're also having a beach wedding so I assume the ladies will show up in nice sun dresses and the guys will wear khakis and a nice shirt. I encourage all my guests to wear flip flops!

And honestly, if someone shows up in a Hawaiian shirt - more power to them. It'll make for funny pictures!

Unless your venue has a dress code, you shoudn't tell people what to wear. If they show up in pajamas and everyone else is in evening gowns, it's on them not you.

We're not having a dress code. It worries me a little because I'm pretty sure that I have some cousins who may show up in tshirts and jeans, but at the end of the day, I'm going to be married, and I'm going to have a great time no matter what my guests are wearing.

We're not telling people what to wear but ours will be outside (working on siggy), I figure people will do friday casual (friday wedding) to semi-formal.  

I know all of our guest will dress accordingly because I have seen a bunch of them at weddings before.

Semi Casual...khakis, sun dresses, etc.  We will include it on the invite/save the date somewhere...
