two questions...

1.engagement photos? what did/are you using them for and are they a necessity or just something nice to have?

2. did anyone do b-photos? i think my fi might like this but am a bit on the shy side and am wondering how this works...

We are doing engagement photos because they are included within our package. We'll use them possibly on our STD's and also I found a program I loved which we can use an engagement photo for. 

And I'll do boudoir pics but generally they are done around 3-4 months before the wedding so I'll do mine around February.

We are doing e-pics but like said in a PP, it came with our packages. They aren't NEEDED but are nice to have for your own personal use. We will be using them on our STDs. But what I love is that you get to work with your photo before the wedding day so they know how to get you to take great shots

As for B-shots, I'm considering this, but have not made up my mind yet...I'm worried about our future kids finding them or something like that...lol.

We had e photos and we are going to use them on our STD.

I am definitely going to do a b shoot but I want to wait closer to the wedding, I'm training for a marathon right now and I wanna be in tip top shape for that shoot =]

We are doing E-pics just to have. I will probably use them to make a picture collage for the wedding (Maybe to put on the table with the placement cards?) But like

I don't think I'll be doing b-photos (one less expense)

As PP post said We are just doing E-pics just to have them... More pictures of FI and I... I am going to put them in the photo album for our parents and grandparents along with out wedding photos.... We have taken them yet but will soon!!!

I am doing B-photos as a part of FI gift... I am waiting closer to the actual wedding. Lord knows I cant keep present from him.... and it also give me time to tone up

1. We're taking them to a) use them for our guest book b) keep them as keepsakes (we rarely take pictures...) and c) use them for our STDs

(we are also thinking about using our pictures on personalized wine bottles for our table numbers...we'll see once it comes closer...)

2. Nope. I will not be doing b pics. My gift to my FI is a love letter each month until we are married. I'm using a fancy typewriter font in word (I don't have the best handwriting) and then I'll be sealing them together as a package deal for the day of. I don't feel comfortable with the idea of taking pictures like these, but it's really just up to the person. FI would not like me taking pictures like that anyway.

1. Our engagement shoot is on May 11th. We'll be using them on our STDs, on the guestbook table, and possibly with the table numbers.

2. I'm doing a boudoir session. Like the other girls have said, I'll wait until closer to the date, and I'll be in better shape by that point

well i was actually meaning not when but how they work... are they completly naked or are they tastefull artistic thing or what? also how do you find someone your comfortable with?

If you don't want nudes and you pick a person who does 90% nudes it probably won't end up being what you want.</div><div>

Just google boudoir and start researching. Meet with people beforehand if it makes you more comfortable, etc. </div>

We're using them for STD's, possibly table numbers, and just in frames around the reception, like by the guestbook.

I haven't, but am thinking about it, but they are so dang expensive. I would totally do it if they weren't so expensive.

I may be slow here but I have never heard of this B photos.  Do you just take naked photos for the FI with a professional photographer?  I'm confused.  lol
