Good morning May Ladies!

Newbies: We do these posts to hold one another accountable for diet and fitness esp leading up to the big day!

Yesterday:
W/O - I did the ENTIRE HOUR of Insanity Max Plyo...holy cow! I usually only fit in 50 minutes and didn't realize how much extra stuff I missed at the end! I am hurting today lol
Dinner - Chicken breast on fresh greens with sprouts and vinaigrette
Late snack - apple sauce and 100% whey

Today:
B - Chobani Pomegranate (my LEAST favorite flavor...not getting it again)
MS - chicken salad and pickles lol Pmsing
L - chicken breast salad with fresh greens + sprouts
W/o - Insanity Cardio Conditioning + 100% designer whey drink

  • I think I'm actually going to keep up with these now!  I'm starting the 5-day inferno plan from TurboFire today, even though I have my "lady friend" right now.

    B - cantelope and strawberry chobani
    L - mixed greens with tuna
    D - not sure set
    W/O - Fire 55 EZ Class (I have no idea what it's going to be like, so here goes nothing!)

    I'm not really trying to lose weight, but I am trying to maintain it, get more toned, and just eat healthier in general so I'll join in!

    Yesterday:
    Snack- Reduced fat kettle corn popcorn
    D- Baked porkchop with mashed potatoes and some watermelon for dessert

    Today:
    B- Brown sugar granola bar (yes, it's got a big of sugar in it, but other than that it's pretty decent and has a good amount of fiber) and a clementine
    Snack- Apple
    L- Turkey breast on whole wheat bread with reduced fat cheddar cheese and reduced fat mayo (and maybe a small soup if there's anything good at the cafe downstairs)
    D- Taco night!

    WO- just gonna do some free weights for my arms and some ab toning exercises

    Gabby...I'm with you sister...my 'lady friend' is getting on my nerves...I've been drooling walking by candy bowl after candy bowl here at work :(

  • I'm going to try and start posting regularly again...
    Yesterday:
    B: banana & coffee
    L: salad w/ chicken
    D: sloppy joe w/ lean ground beef on a whole wheat bun & baked lays
    it's also my "lady week" and I was really craving some red meat and comfort food! so I tried to compromise
    W/O: 45mins of various WiiFit exercises

    Today:
    B: egg white omlete w/ spinach and turkey sausage, lite multigrain english muffin & coffee
    L: spinach salad w/ craisins
    S: banana
    D: three bean turkey chili
    W/O: hopefully some more time on the WiiFit...

  • @klw0022 I'm with you on the pomegranate Choboni-- it's got the aerils (I think that's what they're called...the pomegranate seeds?) in it and it totally throws me off.  

    Yesterday//
    B: BareOats Raw Oatmeal with 2 packets of Stevia
    MS: Peach Chobani
    L: Brazilian steakhouse with my brother for lunch. :(  I wasn't great-- an assortment of (very small) cuts of meat, a ground beef crepe, and small popover rolll, and 2 mini fried plantains.
    AS: Bad again...2 chocolate Oreo balls (bout the size of a mellon baller scoop) that my coworker made.  If we weren't all trying to watch what we eat, I'd share the recipe...they're DIVINE!
    D: 6 in turkey sub from Subway, FiberOne brownie and Jello Temptations Mousse cup

    W/O: 22 minutes on elliptical (intervals), 12 minutes on rowing machine, and weight training (back/shoulders/triceps/abs)

    Today//
    B: BareOats raw oatmeal with 2 stevia packets
    MS: Peach Chobani
    L: Campell's Select Harvest Italian Wedding soup, apple and Jello Temptations Mousse cup
    AS: 100-calorie bag of Orville Redenbacher's popcorn
    D: Food tour in San Francisco with a couple of friends, though I think we just get a few bites of an entree at each of the 3 restaurants we stop at.  All are vegetarian.

    W/O: Hour-long boot camp class (I tried out my new Garmin calorie tracker and it says we torched 687 calories, but that can't be right-- has to be closer to 400 or 450) and 25 minutes of stationary bike afterward
