I'm nervous

So I had looked at a new venue last week and I really liked it!  The coordinator there had told me that she had a few other brides looking for the same time frame as me.  But I didn't want to make a rushed decision, so I decided to wait and think about it before I made a decision.  So after waiting I think its where I want to have my reception.  So today my mom and sister are going to look at the venue and I told my mom if she feels completely comfortable with it to go ahead and book it!  I'm so nervous!

Oh my date hasn't been booked yet!  Sorry that was confusing!  There were other girls looking at my date after I saw it, but I had  called back and it was still available.  What makes me nervous is whether or not my mom is going to like it and put the deposit down!

ooooh. Yea, I misunderstood that too. I hope your mom likes it then! It doesn't seem like there's anything not to like as long as they're offering you a good deal

Agree with PP. Sometimes places try to hurry you and say "we don't know it it'll book up...so..." and you gotta go with your gut. Give yourself time to make a good decision and then go for it if it's what you want

I just heard back from my mom!! She LOVED it and signed the contract and put down the deposit! Yayyyyy! I have a venue again!

Thanks!  I had to change my date from May 19 to May 26 though! But I'm still a May 2012 bride so it all worked out!

Congrats!!! I'm happy you guys were able to find another venue! I looked into the Water Table but I really wanted a view directly of the ocean and it's in the inlet.. but we are both Virginia Beach brides now!!
