And that is what I did here so, I should probably say at little about myself. I'm Lanetta and my FI is Alexis. We've been together 5 1/2 years. He is the sweetest person ever, although he drives me crazy about 99% of the time (actually him and his dog). We got engaged Oct. 9 and already I have so much done that I've decided to take the month of April off from wedding planning.

We're getting married in a historic mansion. The reception room is gorgeous with a stone fireplace, stain-glass windows and antique furnishings that date back to the 17th and 18th centuries and were imported from Europe! The ceremony will take place in a gorgeous gazebo out back that sits atop a hill. You can see for miles and miles.

I can't wait for my (our) wedding day. It all seems so surreal to me.

I love talking to you girls... I could literally talk about my wedding 24/7 and you're the only ppl who won't (can't) slap me for it. Plus, you understand how hard it is to wait. Is it May 2012 yet?

Welcome! I totally understand what you mean about talking about the wedding 24/7. NONE of my friends in my close circle are engaged, and most of them aren't even in a relationship, so I always feel bad talking about it to them. I don't want to be annoying, but I'm just so excited!

AGREED! Everyone at work is sick and tired of hearing about my wedding! It's also nice to get ideas from everyone else's wedding!

im glad you all love to talk weddings! everybodys telling me "your wedding is more than a year away! whay are you planning now?" "why are you dress shopping?" "your picking bridesmaid dresses already?" "you purchased you dress already? what for?"etc... 

I'm getting a little tired of that...hmph
